Thanks to funding from InBIA, we are offering FREE Fluency Score reports for eligible US-based accelerators this year!
The Fluency Score for Accelerators
The Fluency Score is a powerful tool for helping your accelerator understand the potential and risks in the startups in your cohort applicant pool.
What is it?
The Fluency Score is like a FICO Score for startups. This tool’s sophisticated algorithm measures startups over 300 data points to produce an objective, data-driven numerical score.
You will gain insights into:
- how the companies in your applicant pool have de-risked their business model (or not)
- how they work, how fast and focused they are at running the experiments to figure out their business model.
Thanks to generous funding through InBIA, your accelerator may be eligible to utilize The Fluency Score free of charge (a $10-$15K value).
“The Fluency Score helped us make smart, informed decisions about how to deploy $350K in investments this year.”
We encourage all interested accelerators to apply for consideration in this fully-funded Pilot program.
Eligible accelerators will meet these requirements:
- Non-profit accelerator with a place-based mission (serving local/regional founders)
- Based in the United States
- Providing funding to the selected cohort (grants or equity investment)
- Cohort selection is competitive
Accelerators invited to participate in this Pilot will receive FREE Fluency Score Reports during both the pre-program selection process and once the program is completed.
Pre-Program Fluency Score Reports
We will work with you to evaluate your finalists and produce Fluency Score reports you can add as a complement to your current selection process. You can also use these reports as a diagnostic tool to determine what each of the selected startups need during your program.
Post-Program Fluency Score Reports
The Fluency Score also serves as a measure of impact and return on investment. By comparing your startups at the start of the program and immediately afterward, The Fluency Score can provide immediate data and insights into the impact your program had on the cohort.
We are accepting eligible accelerators into this pilot on a rolling basis. We encourage interested accelerators to apply as soon as possible, even if the details of your next cohort are not finalized yet.
Adding The Fluency Score to your pre-program cohort selection requires very little work for your team – we just need an email introduction to each of your finalists to start the Fluency Score evaluation process. However, we do need time to complete the evaluations.
Apply to participate now so that we can work with you to coordinate our evaluation process with the timing of your application due dates, cohort selection period, and the start of your program.
